Job summary

ABeam Consulting in Singapore seeks an experienced programme management professional to support transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams, including planning, risk management, governance reporting, and stakeholder coordination.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field as stated.
• 5+ years of experience in consulting, PMO, transformation, governance, risk management, or financial services.
• Experience in operating model design and process improvement.
• Strong documentation and reporting skills for governance documents and executive reports.
• Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel with analytical and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in regional or international environments.
• Excellent English communication; Japanese skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities:

• Support programme management and transformation initiatives across multiple workstreams, including project planning, milestone tracking, risk management, governance reporting, and stakeholder coordination.


• Conduct organizational, operating model, and process assessments, and support the design and implementation of target operating models, governance frameworks, and transformation initiatives.


• Develop, review, and maintain policies, procedures, governance documents, management reports, and other project-related documentation.


• Monitor project progress, manage risks and dependencies, and support the successful delivery of programme objectives within established timelines.


• Facilitate stakeholder engagement, workshops, governance forums, and management discussions across regional and head office functions.


• Prepare executive-level presentations, status reports, implementation plans, and decision papers, while providing practical recommendations to support business objectives.


• Support business development activities, including proposal preparation, market research, RFP responses, and development of knowledge assets.


• Take ownership of assigned deliverables, collaborating effectively with internal and external stakeholders in a fast-paced project environment.
  

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, Risk Management, Banking, or a related field.


• Minimum 5 years of experience in consulting, PMO, business transformation, governance, risk management, financial services, or similar disciplines.


• Experience in operating model design, organizational transformation, process improvement, governance enhancement, business analysis, gap assessments, and policy/procedure development.


• Strong documentation and reporting skills, with the ability to prepare policies, governance frameworks, committee papers, management reports, and executive-level presentations.


• Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel, with strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.


• Experience working with cross-functional stakeholders in regional, international, or multicultural environments.


• Ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously and deliver high-quality outcomes within tight deadlines.


• Proactive, adaptable, and results-driven, with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.


• Experience in Banking or Financial Services, particularly in risk, compliance, governance, PMO, programme governance, operating model transformation, or large-scale transformation programmes, would be advantageous.


• Familiarity with shared services, centres of excellence, matrix organizations, proposal development, RFP responses, and business development activities would be advantageous.


• Good communication skills in both English and Japanese would be advantageous to effectively engage and collaborate with Japanese-speaking stakeholders and clients.
