WWF-Singapore World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) is hiring a Partnerships Manager to develop and manage strategic partnerships for its Climate Finance programmes, with a primary focus on the Climate Resilient Rice/Food Coalition in Southeast Asia.

You will onboard and steward partners from private sector, financial institutions, government and philanthropy, building a coalition to mobilise finance and drive climate-resilient food systems regionally.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Business, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, International Relations, Finance or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in partnerships, business development, sustainability, programme development or stakeholder engagement.
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and manage relationships with corporate, financial, government or institutional partners.
  • Strong communication, relationship-management and project-management skills.
  • Experience in sustainable agriculture, food systems, climate finance or carbon markets would be advantageous.
  • Experience working in Southeast Asia would be an advantage.

  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of partners and serve as WWF contact.
  • Coordinate with programme and technical teams to ensure delivery of partnership commitments.
  • Prepare partnership updates, reports and briefings.
  • Support coalition development and engagement across businesses, financial institutions, governments and civil society.

Overview

WWF-Singapore is seeking a Partnerships Manager to develop and manage strategic partnerships for its Climate Finance programmes, with a primary focus on its Climate Resilient Rice/Food Coalition.

The role will identify, onboard and steward partners across the private sector, financial institutions, government, philanthropy and other organisations, helping to build a strong coalition that can mobilise finance and collective action for climate-resilient and low-carbon food systems across Southeast Asia.

Key Responsibilities
1. Partnership Development & Onboarding
  • Identify and engage prospective partners for the Climate Resilient Rice/Food Coalition.
  • Develop compelling partnership propositions, proposals and engagement materials.
  • Lead prospective partners from initial engagement through onboarding and formalisation of partnerships.
  • Identify opportunities for partners to contribute through finance, technical expertise, market access, procurement and other forms of collaboration.
2. Partner Stewardship
  • Manage relationships with a portfolio of partners and serve as their primary WWF point of contact.
  • Maintain regular engagement with partners and identify opportunities to deepen collaboration.
  • Coordinate with WWF programme and technical teams to ensure effective delivery of partnership commitments.
  • Prepare partnership updates, reports and briefings as required.
3. Coalition Development & Engagement
  • Support the growth and development of the Climate Resilient Rice/Food Coalition as an effective regional multi-stakeholder platform.
  • Engage coalition members and facilitate collaboration across businesses, financial institutions, governments, technical organisations and civil society.
  • Coordinate coalition meetings, roundtables, workshops and other partner engagements.
  • Identify opportunities for joint initiatives that can mobilise finance and scale climate-resilient and low-carbon agriculture.
4. Programme Development
  • Support the development of sustainable food programmes and related carbon finance programmes.
  • Represent WWF-Singapore at relevant external engagements and industry forums.
