Job summary

The Leukemia and Lymphoma Foundation is seeking a Manager (Fundraising & Operations) to support fundraising, donor engagement and day-to-day operations. You will help coordinate campaigns, manage donor communications and ensure records are accurate and up-to-date.

You will report to the CEO and work closely with Finance, Programme & Services teams to drive a stronger fundraising pipeline and efficient operations in a small non-profit setting.

Qualifications

  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Finance, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline.
  • 5+ years of relevant fundraising, donor relations, partnerships, operations, or related experience.

Responsibilities

  • Support planning and implementation of fundraising initiatives, campaigns and appeals.
  • Identify and research potential individual, corporate and community donors and fundraising opportunities.
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns end-to-end from planning to follow-up.
  • Develop donor engagement and stewardship initiatives and maintain donor records.
  • Assist with fundraising and donation operations, including SOPs and documentation.
  • Prepare sponsorship materials and maintain relationships with corporate partners.

Job description

RolePurpose

The Manager (Fundraising & Operations) supports LLF’s fundraising and donor engagement efforts while contributing to the effective day-to-day operations of the Foundation.

The role will help develop and coordinate fundraising initiatives, strengthen relationships with donors and corporate partners, support donor stewardship, and ensure that fundraising and donation processes are well managed and properly documented.

The position will report to CEO, and work closely with Finance team and Programme & Services team.

Key Responsibilities
1.Fundraising & Donor Development
  • Support the planning and implementation of LLF’s fundraising initiatives, campaigns and appeals.
  • Identify and research potential individual, corporate and community donors and fundraising opportunities.
  • Support outreach to prospective donors, sponsors and corporate partners.
  • Prepare fundraising proposals, presentations, sponsorship materials and donor communications.
  • Coordinate fundraising campaigns and activities from planning through implementation and follow-up.
  • Support the development and growth of regular and recurring giving programmes.
  • Track fundraising activities, outcomes and follow-up actions.
2. Donor Engagement & Stewardship
  • Support the development and implementation of donor engagement and stewardship initiatives.
  • Maintain regular and appropriate engagement with existing donors and supporters.
  • Coordinate donor acknowledgements, appreciation and follow-up communications.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date donor information and engagement records.
  • Analyze donor information and giving patterns to support donor retention, re-engagement and fundraising opportunities.
  • Assist the CEO in managing relationships with major donors, corporate partners and other key supporters.
3.Fundraising & Donation Operations
  • Coordinate the operational aspects of LLF’s donation and fundraising channels.
  • Work with the Finance team to ensure donations are properly recorded, reconciled and acknowledged.
  • Monitor fundraising and donation processes and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Support the implementation and documentation of SOPs relating to donations, fundraising and donor management.
  • Ensure appropriate documentation and records are maintained for fundraising activities.
  • Support compliance with LLF policies and applicable charity, IPC, PDPA and fundraising requirements.
4.Corporate Partnerships & Sponsorships
  • Research and identify potential corporate partnership and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Support preparation of sponsorship proposals and partnership materials.
  • Coordinate sponsorship arrangements, documentation and follow-up.
  • Maintain relationships and communication with corporate partners and sponsors.
  • Coordinate fulfilment of agreed sponsorship benefits and acknowledgements.
5.Operations & Finance Support
  • Support the CEO in coordinating selected organizational and operational initiatives.
  • Assist with procurement, vendor coordination and operational projects where required.
  • Support the development and maintenance of operational policies, SOPs and institutional records.
  • Coordinate across Finance, Programme & Services and external parties to ensure smooth implementation of assigned projects.
  • Provide administrative and operational support for major LLF events and initiatives.
  • Assist the Finance Manager with month-end closing activities, including preparation and collation of supporting documents, reconciliations, schedules and other finance-related administrative work as required.
  • Assist with maintaining proper financial and operational records to support audit and reporting requirements.
6.Reporting & Database Management
  • Maintain appropriate fundraising, donor and partnership records.
  • Prepare regular fundraising and donation reports for management.
  • Track fundraising pipeline, donor engagement activities, campaign performance and sponsorship opportunities.
  • Support preparation of information required for management, Board, audit and regulatory reporting.
  • Use donor and fundraising data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Requirements
Education
  • Degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Fundraising, Finance, Non-Profit Management or a related discipline.
Experience
  • Preferably 5 years of relevant working experience in fundraising, donor relations, business development, corporate partnerships, operations, finance administration or related functions.
  • Experience in a charity, social service agency, healthcare organization or other non-profit environment would be advantageous but is not essential.
  • Candidates with strong transferable experience from the corporate sector are welcome to apply.

Note:

This is a hands-on role in a small non-profit organization. The Executive will be expected to work across functions and contribute to fundraising, operations and general administration & finance support as organizational needs evolve.
