Job summary

Resmed in Tuas, Singapore, seeks a Manager, Moulding Engineering to lead a skilled team driving precision injection moulding, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. You’ll shape manufacturing strategies early in product development and partner across Operations, Product Development, Quality, and global stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in manufacturing/engineering or related field.
• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing within regulated industries (medical devices/pharma preferred).
• Knowledge of product design, process validation, and lean manufacturing principles.

As Manager, Moulding Engineering, based in Tuas, Singapore, you will lead a talented team at the forefront of precision injection moulding, automation, and advanced manufacturing technologies. This is a highly visible leadership role where you'll shape how products are industrialised, ensuring manufacturing considerations are embedded early and effectively throughout product development. Working closely with Operations, Product Development, Quality, and global partners, you'll drive the development of robust, scalable manufacturing solutions that support quality, efficiency, compliance, and business growth.

What You'll Do

• Lead and develop a high-performing manufacturing engineering team, fostering a culture of trust, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Coach and support team members to strengthen technical capability, ownership, and professional growth.
• Drive engagement and performance across the team to deliver operational and project objectives.
• Represent Manufacturing in cross-functional discussions, ensuring manufacturability, quality, cost, and scalability are considered throughout product development.
• Partner with Product Development, Operations, Quality, and global stakeholders to align priorities, resolve challenges, and maintain program momentum.
• Oversee the development, optimisation, and implementation of moulding and manufacturing processes to support product and business requirements.
• Ensure successful delivery of manufacturing programs aligned to timelines, quality expectations, regulatory requirements, and cost objectives.
• Champion process validation strategies and production methodologies that deliver robust, repeatable outcomes.
• Support digital transformation initiatives within manufacturing, promoting technology adoption and continuous improvement.
• Ensure compliance with GMP, safety, quality, and regulatory standards across all manufacturing engineering activities.

What You Bring

• Bachelor's Degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Mechatronic Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 8 years in manufacturing within regulated industries, preferably medical devices or pharmaceuticals.
• Knowledge of product design, process validation, and lean manufacturing principles.
• Background leading engineering teams and building high-performing cultures.
• Ability to influence stakeholders across functions, regions, and organisational levels.
• Proven capability to manage competing priorities and navigate complex, matrixed environments.
• Structured problem-solving approach with sound decision-making and judgment.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
