Job summary

ResMed's Manufacturing Engineering team in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a Graduate Manufacturing Engineer to be embedded in a Product Focus Team (PFT). You will support day-to-day manufacturing operations, collaborate with Production, Quality, and Product Development, and contribute to continuous improvement on the shop floor.

This hands-on role is ideal for engineering graduates who want to learn on the line, develop process documentation, and participate in Lean/Six Sigma initiatives to improve

Qualifications

• Mechanical aptitude with bachelor’s degree in engineering or related discipline.
• Hands-on manufacturing and shop-floor work preferred.
• Exposure to final product assembly environments (internships or projects).
• Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles.
• Familiarity with mechanical design concepts, fixtures, or automation ideas.
• Interest or exposure to collaborative robotics, process validation, or data analytics.
• Comfortable working in a regulated manufacturing or quality-focused environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct engineering support to the PFT by understanding manufacturing and assembly processes.
• Support production teams in troubleshooting process and equipment issues to maintain output, quality, and safety.
• Assist in activities related to process deviations, defects, or equipment challenges.
• Create, update, and maintain manufacturing documentation including work instructions, process flows, and validation records.
• Support process validation and verification activities in line with quality system requirements.
• Ensure manufacturing processes comply with OH&S, GMP, and quality standards.
• Identify opportunities to improve manual and semi-automated assembly processes.
• Contribute ideas for fixtures, jigs, tooling, and simple automation solutions to enhance ergonomics, efficiency, and repeatability.
• Participate in Lean, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement initiatives to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
• Represent Manufacturing Engineering while working closely with Product Development to ensure designs are manufacturable.
• Build strong working relationships with Production, Quality, Supply Chain, and Engineering peers.

• Gradually take on increased responsibility, progressing from routine engineering tasks to project-based contributions over time.
