• Prepare papers and presentations to communicate IMDA’s position on tech manpower policy matters to senior management, senior government officials, and Public Office Holders.
• Implement manpower policies and operations in an effective and timely manner.
• Collaborate within and across government agencies to ensure alignment towards national interests.

Job description

What the role is

The Manpower Policy and Planning team works with multiple stakeholders to conceptualise, plan and analyse ICT and Media (ICM) manpower trends to develop strategies for the needs of the economy. To be effective in this role, you should preferably have an understanding of the ICM sector and be able to develop sound data-driven analysis to facilitate policy making. We are seeking a highly motivated Manager to join the Planning, Strategy and Data Team.

What we are looking for

Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and identify key issues. Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, with ability to present complex ideas clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders. Strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams. Able to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
