Job summary

Focal Search Pte Ltd in Singapore seeks a senior operations supervisor to oversee and train the Machining Department staff, coordinating daily activities for onshore and offshore projects.

You will ensure staff wellbeing and safety, drive compliance with ISO standards, monitor timelines and budgets, and perform inspections and troubleshooting on ships and offshore vessels, while providing technical support to customers and developing new regional business opportunities.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, train, and coordinate the daily activities of staff in the Machining Department. (Onboard and off-shore)
• Maintain the wellbeing and safety of staff for projects
• Ensure all ISO requirements are met
• Facilitate efficient operations, track timelines, progress, and ensure that projects are within budget.
• Occasionally conduct personal inspections and troubleshooting of ships and offshore vessels and providing technical support to customers.
• Develop and foster new business opportunities with clients in the region.
