Job summary

Far East Orchard Limited is seeking a qualified corporate/commercial lawyer to provide legal advice and support to the listed entity and its multi-jurisdictional group on acquisitions, disposals, JVs, private funds and new business initiatives.

The role involves drafting, reviewing and negotiating contracts (term sheets, leases, SPAs, development-related agreements, facilities), coordinating with external counsel on data privacy and IP, and handling other duties with professionalism.

Qualifications

• Qualified lawyer with LLB from Singapore or UK.
• Minimum 4 years post-qualification experience in corporate/commercial work.
• Familiarity with laws governing listed companies and/or M&A is advantageous.
• Familiarity with real estate industry is advantageous.
• Independent, pro-active, able to multi-task, commercially minded.

• Appoint, liaise and instruct external counsel on legal matters including data privacy and intellectual property
• Undertake any other duties assigned by superiors diligently and professionally

Requirements

• Degree in Law (LLB) from Singapore or UK
