Job summary

Sembcorp is seeking a Manager, Group Finance Planning & Analysis (Corporate Finance) in Singapore. You will support forecasting, budgeting, and management reporting for corporate entities and functions, and act as a Finance Business Partner to drive robust tracking of spend and recoveries.

Reporting to the SM, Corporate FPA, you will lead P&L delivery, assess financial implications of decisions, and ensure compliance with group policies while driving digitalisation and process improvements

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or related discipline.
• CA, CPA or ACCA professional qualification preferred.
• 8–10 years in accounting/finance with 3+ years in Finance Business Partnering.
• Good knowledge of IFRS.
• Strong interpersonal skills with management levels across functions.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Good knowledge in SAP and Tagetik.
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Support Corporate Stakeholders in delivering P&L.
• Review monthly closing, rolling forecasts and periodic analysis.
• Lead budgetary control and capital expenditure management.
• Manage cash and treasury-related activities for corporate functions.
• Provide audits support and statutory financial statement review.
• Review corporate income tax computations and compliance.
• Drive digitalisation initiatives and process improvements.
• Align interests across functions and geographies; provide financial insights.

Purpose and Scope

Reportingto the SM ,Corporate FPA , this role will be responsible for supportingCorporate FPA Function for forecasting, budgeting and management reporting ofcorporate entities and corporate functions. This role will also act as theFinance Business Partner for corporate functions, ensuring robust tracking,forecasting, reporting and communication of department spend and recoveries.

Key Roles andResponsibilities

• Support CorporateStakeholders in delivering P&L
• Responsiblefor all financial functions, including:
  • reviewof monthly closing, rolling forecast and performs periodic analysis
  • leadbudgetary control
  • capitalexpenditure and cash management,
  • transfer pricing management ,
  • auditsupport and statutory financial statement review
  • corporateincome tax computation review
  • andother adhoc management reporting
• Identifykey drivers for business and develop mechanism for effective tracking, reportingas well as analytical evaluation to continuously improve business efficiency.
• Review& implement financial & risk management policies & procedures toensure effective internal control, proper accounting practices and financialreporting, and to comply with Group policies and procedures.
• Custodian of Financial Authority Limits for Corporate Functionsand ensure timely update and compliance
• Support capital and treasury management for Corporate investmentholding entities, plans and coordinates investment and divestment fund flows tominimize tax and forex exposures.
• Support and drive digitalisation initiatives, processimprovement projects, and other adhoc projects to enhance business efficiencyand reporting capabilities.
• To understand and align interests forvarious stakeholders across functions and geographies
• Provide insights and solutions and thefinancial implications on course of actions

Qualifications &Experience

• Degree inFinance, Accounting, or related discipline
• Professionalqualifications such as CA, CPA or ACCA preferred
• Preferably8 to 10 years of working experience in accounting/finance related field with atleast 3 years of Finance Business Partnering related work experience
• Good knowledge of IFRS
• Strong interpersonal skills, demonstrated ability tointerface with various management levels across functions
• Possess Critical thinking, excellent problem diagnosis andanalytical skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft office including Excel andPowerPoint
• Good knowledge in accounting related systems preferably SAPand Tagetik
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, bothindependently and in a team.
• Able to self motivate and encourage cohesive work team
