Job summary

VALLIANZ CORPORATE SERVICES PTE. LTD. is seeking a senior financial professional to lead group reporting, ensure IFRS/SGX compliance, and drive budgeting and forecasting for the group.

The role involves coordinating with subsidiaries, preparing board papers, and overseeing annual reports. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial reporting and consolidation, with a strong focus on compliance and governance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation and/or commercial finance.

Responsibilities

• Prepare the Group's monthly financial consolidation and performance analysis.
• Coordinate with subsidiaries and joint ventures on group reporting and consolidation.
• Prepare group reporting to the parent company.
• Prepare and review Board papers, SGXNet announcements, audited financial statements, annual report and sustainability report.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax, statutory and SGX requirements.
• Review and improve financial policies, internal controls and reporting processes.
• Manage internal and external audits and liaise with auditors and service providers.
• Support the preparation of the AGM.
• Prepare the Group's annual budgeting and forecasting process.
• Oversee monthly financial closing for investment holding and inactive subsidiaries.
• Keep abreast of changes in accounting standards (IFRS/SFRS) and regulatory requirements.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned by Management.

Experience

• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in financial reporting, group consolidation and/or commercial finance.
• Experience in audit, budgeting and forecasting, board papers preparation and SGX regulatory reporting will be an advantage.
