Job summary

Changi Airport Group is seeking a driven Finance Manager to lead the Enterprise Performance – Financial Reporting Team, overseeing the full spectrum of financial reporting and providing technical accounting advisory across the organisation.

You will drive data-driven insights for business performance management, and partner with divisions to support strategic decision making in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent; CA/CPA required.
• ≥8 years of experience, including ≥3 years with Big 4 or large professional services.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; able to engage stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Highly organized, proactive, agile with ownership.
• Strong knowledge of Singapore financial reporting standards.
• MS Office proficiency; SAP experience advantageous.

We are seeking a driven and strategic Finance Manager to join our Enterprise Performance – Financial Reporting Team. This is an exciting opportunity for a high-performing finance professional with strong technical accounting expertise and a passion for driving business value through a finance lens. In this role, you will play a key leadership role overseeing the full spectrum of the Company’s financial reporting activities and providing technical accounting advisory to Business Divisions across the organisation. Beyond financial reporting, you will drive financial analysis to deliver data-driven insights that support business performance management and drive strategic decision making.

Key Responsibilities

Financial Close and Management

• Lead and oversee the end-to-end monthly, quarterly and annual financial close processes, ensuring the integrity, accuracy and timely delivery of the financial results.


• Ensure compliance with applicable Financial Reporting Standards, regulatory requirements and internal control frameworks


• Present and effectively communicate financial results, key performance drivers and business insights to Management and Business Stakeholders


• Lead statutory audits and serve as primary liaison with external auditors

Technical Accounting Advisory

• Serve as a trusted advisor to business stakeholders on technical accounting matters and lead the company-wide implementation of new accounting standards


• Partner with cross-functional finance teams (eg. Tax, Treasury) to evaluate and account for complex transactions to ensure compliant and accurate financial reporting

Finance Transformation and Digital Innovation

• Drive continuous enhancement of financial close and reporting processes through automation and the adoption of digital solutions.


• Leverage technology and data analytics to strengthen reporting capabilities and support informed decision-making across the Organisation


• Identify and drive opportunities to streamline financial reporting workflows, strengthen governance and controls, and elevate the capabilities of the financial reporting function

Leadership

• Lead, inspire and coach direct report(s), providing guidance, mentorship and talent development opportunities while building a high-performing team culture

Requirements

• Degree in Accountancy or equivalent professional qualification. CA/CPA is a requirement.


• At least 8 years of relevant working experience, including a minimum of 3 years with a Big 4 audit firm or established professional services environment . Prior commercial experience will be an advantage.


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to engage and influence both finance and business stakeholders across all levels of the organization.


• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic and fast-paced environment.


• Highly organized, proactive, and agile with a strong sense of ownership and commitment to delivering high quality outcomes.


• Strong technical knowledge of financial reporting standards in Singapore.


• Proficiency in MS Office applications; Experience with SAP will be an advantage.
