Job summary

RHB Singapore is seeking a highly motivated Manager, Financial Accounting & Corporate & Regulatory Reporting to join our Finance team. You will support financial and regulatory reporting, ensure regulatory compliance, and collaborate with regulators and external auditors to uphold high standards of governance.

You will provide regulatory advisory support, drive process improvements, review policy documents, and perform UAT for new products and regulatory changes to ensure accurate and timely

Qualifications

• Degree in Accountancy or a recognized professional accounting qualification (e.g., CA Singapore, ACCA)
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience, preferably in a reputable audit firm or within the finance function of a bank
• Knowledge of MAS regulations, the Banking Act, Singapore tax requirements, and regulatory reporting requirements will be an added advantage
• Good understanding of accounting policies, internal controls, and data governance principles

Responsibilities

• Support financial and regulatory reporting activities, including the preparation and submission of regulatory returns and reports.
• Assist in the preparation of statutory financial statements and tax computations for RHB Singapore Branch and its subsidiaries.
• Liaise with external auditors on year-end statutory reporting and audit matters.
• Manage and coordinate responses to queries from the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS) and other regulatory authorities.
• Provide regulatory advisory support to business units and act as a subject matter expert on regulatory reporting matters.
• Review and enhance processes and controls to mitigate operational risks and improve reporting efficiency.
• Maintain and periodically review policy documents to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements, business needs, and market developments.
• Perform User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new products, system enhancements, and regulatory change initiatives to ensure compliance with reporting requirements.]

What we’re looking for
