Job summary

Phillip Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a professional to build and deepen relationships with Japanese clients in Singapore and the surrounding region.

You will refer clients to Phillip Securities across retail, wealth management, and institutional segments, and provide advisory solutions including Japanese and global equities and managed account services. You will drive Accredited Investor conversions for broader product access and work closely with Phillip Securities Japan to expand

Qualifications

• Strong communication in Japanese and English (spoken and written).
• Degree in Finance or equivalent preferred.
• CMFAS M1A, M5, M6, M6A certifications are advantageous.
• Prior experience in investment and/or customer service advantageous.
• Diligent, meticulous, patient and resourceful.
• Team player able to coordinate with Backoffice and IT.
• Strong knowledge/interest in Financial markets and products (Equities/Fixed Income/Options/ CFDs/ Derivatives).
• Knowledge of coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA is preferred and advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Build and deepen relationships with Japanese individuals and corporates in Singapore and the region, referring them to Phillip Securities across retail, WM, and institutional segments.
• Provide advisory and product solutions, including Japanese and global equities and managed account services.
• Promote conversion of Japan Desk clients into Accredited Investors for access to private placements, bonds, ETFs, and private equity.
• Work closely with Phillip Securities Japan to drive business expansion with coordination across both entities.
• Collaborate with PhillipCapital group companies, overseas offices, and external partners to develop and deliver new initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Build and deepen relationships with Japanese individuals and corporates based in Singapore and the surrounding region, and refer them to Phillip Securities (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. across retail, wealth management, and institutional segments.


• Provide advisory and product solutions to clients, including Japanese and global equities, as well as managed account services.


• Promote the conversion of Japan Desk clients into Accredited Investors, enabling access to a broader range of investment products such as private placements, bonds, ETFs, and private equity.


• Work closely with Phillip Securities Japan to drive business expansion while ensuring strong coordination across both entities.


• Collaborate with PhillipCapital group companies, overseas offices, and external partners to develop and deliver new business initiatives and services.

Requirements:

• Strong communication skills in both Japanese and English is required (Able to speak and write fluently)


• Degree in Finance or its equivalent preferred


• Certifications in CMFAS M1A, M5, M6 and M6A will be advantageous


• Prior experience in investment and/or customer service will be advantageous


• Diligent, meticulous, patient and resourceful


• A team player who can work well with internal stakeholders including Backoffice and IT.


• Strong knowledge and interest in Financial markets and products including Equities/Fixed Income/Options/ CFDs and Derivatives products.


• Knowledge and proficiency in basic coding, AI adoption, and/or RPA are preferred and advantageous
