Job summary

HSBC Life (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Manager, Business Continuity and Incident Management to lead the BCM framework and ensure regulatory alignment in a dynamic environment.

You will coordinate governance, training, testing and incident response across the organisation, collaborating with senior stakeholders to mitigate disruption risks and improve resilience. A professional certification and relevant financial services experience are advantageous.

Qualifications

• Demonstrable experience in Business Continuity Management (BCM), operational resilience or a related risk and resilience discipline.
• Experience implementing, maintaining or enhancing BCM frameworks and programmes.
• Strong understanding of the BCM lifecycle, including risk assessments and recovery objectives.
• Experience designing and delivering BCM training and simulations.
• Experience in risk and control management and MAS guidelines knowledge.
• Strong stakeholder management, analytical and communication skills in a regulated environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and maintain the BCM framework, including governance, policies, roles and responsibilities, risk assessments and recovery plans.
• Maintain a robust local BCM programme with current plans and contact arrangements.
• Coordinate the organisation’s response to emergencies and crises with effective escalation and communication.
• Partner with stakeholders to assess disruption risks across people, premises, technology and third-party dependencies.
• Design and deliver BCM training and simulations; track improvement actions to completion.
• Conduct QA reviews and gap assessments for BCM arrangements and regulatory readiness.
• Monitor and report on MAS BCM guidelines compliance and governance.
• Drive continuous improvement in organisational resilience using insights from exercises and regulatory developments.
