Job summary

Qualifications

What the role is:

• Oversee the detailed planning, execution, and monitoring of maintenance funding
• Ensure decisions are aligned with systems criticality, readiness outcomes, and sustainment risk
• Analyse maintenance budget submissions and conduct variance and trend analysis
• Identify emerging funding risks and optimisation opportunities
• Ensure compliance with financial directives and governance frameworks across all stages of the budget cycle
• Challenge(s)- Navigating the complexity of aligning maintenance funding decisions with operational readiness priorities across diverse technical and functional stakeholders
• Balancing fiscal discipline and compliance requirements while identifying opportunities to optimise limited maintenance resources

What we are looking for:

• Education in Business, Finance, or a related field
• At least 3 years of relevant experience in a related field
• Strong analytical and financial reasoning skills
• Proficiency in data analytics tools and advanced spreadsheet applications
