Job summary

The Institute of Digital Government (IDG) is seeking an Assistant Manager/Manager (Digital Learning Content) to design and build digital resources that equip public officers with practical digital, data and AI capabilities.

You will leverage AI-powered content creation tools and modern workflows to turn complex topics into clear, practical learning experiences and shape how IDG produces content for government use.

Qualifications

• Relevant experience in instructional design, digital content or multimedia production, supported by a strong portfolio of finished work.
• Strong writing, editing and learning-design skills, with the ability to simplify complex concepts and select the right format for the learner’s needs.
• Comfortable building engaging modules, instructional videos and guides with AI-assisted workflows, using tools such as ChatGPT, Microsoft Copilot, Elevenlabs, HeyGen, Canva, CapCut or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Build learning products end-to-end using AI tools, including research, scripting, production, review and publishing.
• Design and produce learner-centred resources (modules, guides, job aids and videos) that translate AI and digital topics into practical workplace application.
• Collaborate with subject matter experts to shape, validate and adapt content across formats for public officers.
• Test new tools and workflows to improve the speed, quality and interactivity of learning content.

You will use AI-powered content creation tools and modern creative workflows to turn complex digital topics into clear, practical learning experiences and help shape how IDG produces useful content that can be shared with the rest of government.
