Job summary

Changi Airport Group (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. seeks a self-driven leader for the Airport Operations Strategy & Transformation team to envision, redefine, and deliver transformative projects across automation and robotics.

You will chart medium-to-long-term strategies, define programme roadmaps, and drive trials, business models, and deployment with internal teams and airport partners. An entrepreneurial mindset and strong collaboration are essential.

Qualifications

• A bachelor’s degree or equivalent, preferably with at least 5 years of working experience.
• Ambition and desire to drive industry change for aviation and airport operations.
• Experienced strategy formulation and strategic planning, able to articulate desired end goal, devise mid-term strategy, outline programme roadmap, gather senior management and stakeholders’ buy-in.
• Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to navigate uncharted territory and deliver large-scale programmes.
• Technical knowledge in system, software and network design is a bonus.
• Excellent communications (written & oral) and people skills. Technically inclined.

The Airport Operations Strategy & Transformation (AOST) team is the innovation pillar under Airport Management cluster to drive transformation for airport operations.

We are seeking self-driven leaders to join our team. As part of an entrepreneurial team within an ops division, you would be given the autonomy to envision, (re)define and deliver impactful airport-wide projects, particularly in the area of automation and robotics, and industry-wide workflow re-design.

The ideal candidate should be excited by the opportunity to chart and implement projects with little precedence. This includes envisioning vastly different concepts of operations for Changi Airport, formulate & review the medium to long-term strategy, as well as drive implementation efforts to change concept of operations and scale up new technology including autonomous systems in airside. The Candidate would be expected to define programme roadmap(s), obtain senior management & stakeholders’ buy-in, steer technological developments, execute trials, devise business models and deploy solutions with internal operational teams and/or airport partners. The Candidate should also be entrepreneurial in establishing network and partnerships to facilitate the team’s work.

This role requires the candidate to be a strong thinker and possess business acumen, technological aptitude and problem-solving skills to drive the widespread implementation of autonomous vehicles & robotics in alignment with Changi’s strategic goals.
