Job summary

Katoen Natie in Singapore seeks a Management Executive trainee to support managers while gaining skills through compulsory on-the-job training across packaging, warehousing, maintenance, customer service and health, safety and environment, to gain different perspectives of the job.

You will participate in hands-on improvement and automation projects, gaining exposure to cutting‑edge EV, solar energy and Battery Energy Storage Systems initiatives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with less than three years of post-graduation work experience.
• Incumbent will not only be trained / exposed in Singapore but must be opened to be deployed to other parts of the world where Katoen Natie has its presence.

Responsibilities

• Attend compulsory on-the-job training in different operational and supporting functions – packaging, warehousing, technical/maintenance, customer service and health, safety & environment to gain different perspectives of the job.
• Gain hands-on experience in managing improvement / innovation / automation projects to enhance operational efficiencies and reduces the reliance on manual work.
• Acquire planning, organising and other related soft skillsets interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist department head to plan and direct the work of the department.
• Review standard operating procedures and streamlining processes.
• Evaluate work output and productivity.

Responsible for supporting managers and undertaking delegated responsibilities and duties with the objective of developing the skills and competencies required to independently perform the role of a Management Executive.
