KATOEN NATIE SINGAPORE (JURONG) PTE. LTD.

is seeking a proactive Management Executive Trainee to support managers and learn through hands-on involvement in automation initiatives, infrastructure development, EV solutions, solar energy and BESS projects. You will participate in on-the-job training across packaging, warehousing, maintenance, customer service and HSE; assist in planning, SOP reviews, project improvement and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with less than three years of post-graduation work experience.
• Incumbent will potentially be deployed to other parts of the world where Katoen Natie has a presence.
• Gains hands-on experience in improving/innovating/automating projects to enhance efficiencies.

Responsibilities

• Attend compulsory on-the-job training in packaging, warehousing, technical/maintenance, customer service and HSE to gain different perspectives of the job.
• Gain hands-on experience in managing improvement/automation projects to enhance operational efficiencies and reduce reliance on manual work.
• Acquire planning, organising and other related soft skills interfacing with internal and external stakeholders.
• Assist department head to plan and direct the work of the department.
• Review standard operating procedures and streamline processes.
• Evaluate work output and productivity.

Responsible for supporting managers and undertaking delegated responsibilities and duties with the objective of developing the skills and competencies required to independently perform the role of a Management Executive. This role offers extensive learning opportunities through involvement in cutting-edge projects, including automation initiatives, infrastructure development, electric vehicle (EV) solutions, solar energy systems, and Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), providing valuable exposure to emerging technologies and sustainable business solutions.

Job Requirements
