Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic's FabLab team is seeking an experienced professional to develop and deliver applied learning in digital fabrication, electronics, programming and maker education. You will support safe and effective operation of SP FabLab and help students translate ideas into prototypes through design, making, testing and iteration.

The role requires at least 5 years of teaching and curriculum development, with strong collaboration with MOE, schools, and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in education, engineering, design, or technology.
• Minimum 5 years of teaching and curriculum development experience.
• Experience with curriculum design, project-based learning, and innovation pedagogy.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate hands-on, technology-enabled learning.

Responsibilities

• Design, implement, and review curriculum integrating digital fabrication and maker education.
• Lead hands-on, interdisciplinary learning modules aligned with MOE directions.
• Train and mentor teachers to strengthen design thinking and fabrication skills.
• Develop resources, workshops, and frameworks to scale Maker Education.
• Lead FabLab strategic plans and engage with MOE, industry, and national networks.
