Job summary

Singapore Polytechnic (SP) invites an experienced professional to join the FabLab team. You will develop and deliver applied learning in digital fabrication, electronics, programming, and maker education, while supporting the safe, reliable operation of SP FabLab.

You will help students and partners translate ideas into functional prototypes through design, making, testing and iteration; lead curriculum design aligned with MOE directions, and collaborate with schools and industry partners.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Engineering, Design, Technology, or related field.
• At least 5 years of teaching and curriculum development experience.
• Experience in curriculum design, project-based learning, and innovation pedagogy.
• Proven ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate hands-on technology-enabled learning.
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills to collaborate with schools and MOE.

Responsibilities

• Curriculum Design & Development: Design, implement, and review curriculum integrating digital fabrication and maker education.
• Teacher Capacity Building: Train and mentor teachers to strengthen design thinking and maker education.
• Strategic Leadership & Partnerships: Lead FabLab strategies and collaborate with MOE, industry, and international networks.
• Innovation & Research: Drive pedagogy innovation and evaluate impact through pilots and studies.
• Programme Quality Assurance: Ensure alignment with quality standards and sustainable student engagement.
