Job summary

SonarSource is seeking a Major Incident Manager to automate and strengthen software development lifecycles across global hubs. You will lead automation for security, monitoring, and incident response, balancing reliability with rapid delivery.

You will work with Terraform/CloudFormation, AWS, and DevSecOps tools to reduce toil and improve observability, alerts, and runbooks while coordinating with on-call engineers.

Qualifications

• Experience in monitoring and maintaining critical security infrastructure and core services.
• Strong automation and scripting skills (Python/Go) for IaC and CI/CD pipelines.
• Hands-on experience with major cloud providers (AWS, GCP, Azure) or private cloud infra.

Responsibilities

• System health monitoring, alert triage, and managing error budgets against SLOs.
• Develop and maintain IaC and policy as code to automate deployment and security hardening.
• Eliminate toil by automating security patches, compliance checks, and rotations.
• Maintain DevSecOps tooling within CI/CD pipelines and ensure observability stacks.
• Lead incident response, run post-mortems, and implement preventative automation.
