Job summary

DNATA SINGAPORE PTE. LTD. is seeking a Maintenance Technician I/II to service, inspect, repair and maintain equipment, plant and facilities at our Singapore site.

The role emphasizes planning PM programs, coordinating repairs, and leading technicians on shift to minimize downtime. The ideal candidate holds a Vocational/ITE certificate in Building Maintenance and has hands-on experience with plant and facility maintenance, safety practices, and equipment BER verification.

Qualifications

• Requires vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in building maintenance.
• Experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance is an advantage.
• Must possess a valid LTA Class 3 driving license.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities to ensure minimum downtime.
• Plan and organize Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program.
• Responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty.
• Coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level, to ensure minimum disruption to operations.
• Ensure quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities; organize recovery to workshop if needed.
• Verify the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and time keeping.
• Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure safe working environment.
• Verify workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition.
• Verify parts for replacement are BER and cannot be reconditioned.
• Any other duties as assigned
• Ensure compliance with all workplace safety, security, and health policies and procedure
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned by the reporting manager or department head

Maintenance Technician I/II is responsible for the servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and facilities.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Coordinate servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant, and facilities to ensure minimum downtime
• Plan and organize Weekly and Daily Preventive Maintenance (PM) Program
• Responsible for the performance and discipline of the technicians on shift duty
• Coordinate minor and major repairs, replacement & overhaul of equipment, plant, and facilities at component & system level, to ensure minimum disruption to operations
• Ensure quick response to trouble-shoot, rectify, and re-activate equipment, plant, and facilities. If unable, to organize recovery to workshop to repair, rectify and make good, and put back into operation with minimum delays and downtime.
• Verify the accuracy of computer daily job sheets and time keeping
• Monitor and review work methods, conditions, and housekeeping to ensure safe working environment
• Verify and ensure workshop equipment are maintained in good working condition
• Verify parts for replacement are beyond economic repair (BER) and cannot be reconditioned

Requirements

• Minimum Vocational/ITE certificate or equivalent in Building Maintenance
• Experience in servicing, inspection, repair and maintenance of equipment, plant and facilities will be an added advantage
• Must possess minimum LTA class 3 driving license
