Job summary

E-CONTRACT PTE. LTD. in Tuas, Singapore, is seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to support maintenance and reliability of packaging and process equipment at our manufacturing facility.

You will work with Operations and Engineering to maintain safe, reliable, and efficient machinery while supporting PM, troubleshooting and continuous improvement. You will perform preventive and predictive maintenance, diagnose issues, disassemble and reassemble equipment, and maintain accurate records.

Qualifications

• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Office.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision and collaborate effectively within a team.

Responsibilities

• Perform troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of processing, blending and high-speed packaging equipment.
• Carry out preventive and predictive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and minimize downtime.
• Perform equipment disassembly, diagnosis, repair and re-assembly in accordance with required hygiene and safety standards.
• Repair and install machinery, equipment components, guards and piping where required.
• Execute scheduled preventive maintenance, work orders and maintenance-related project activities.
• Support the investigation and resolution of equipment breakdowns and recurring downtime issues.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, reports and technical documentation.
• Assist in the preparation and improvement of SOPs, checklists and work instructions.
• Maintain good housekeeping and workplace organization in accordance with 5S standards.
• Participate in site emergency response activities when required.
• Provide guidance and technical support to new employees where necessary.
