Job summary

K2 MANAGEMENT & CONSULTANCY PTE. LTD.

is seeking a proactive Maintenance Technician to perform day-to-day upkeep of the hotel, including minor carpentry, plumbing, lighting and electrical works, basic painting, and general cleaning support when required. You will inspect guest rooms, common areas and back‑of‑house spaces, carry out carpentry, lighting, plumbing, painting and furniture repairs, and participate in preventive maintenance.

Responsibilities

• General Maintenance: Inspect and maintain guest rooms, common areas, lobby, café, toilets and back-of-house areas.
• Carpentry: Carry out minor carpentry work such as repairing doors, cabinets, shelves, furniture, locks, hinges and fittings.
• Lighting / Electrical: Replace lights, switches, sockets, bulbs and fittings, and troubleshoot simple electrical faults within permitted scope.
• Plumbing: Repair leaking taps, clogged sinks, toilets, drainage issues, loose fittings and other minor plumbing problems.
• Painting & Touch-Up: Perform wall touch-ups, patching, minor repainting, sealant work and basic cosmetic repairs.
• Furniture & Fixtures: Assemble, move, repair and maintain furniture, signage, shelves and hotel equipment.
• Preventive Maintenance: Conduct routine inspections and identify defects before they become major problems.
• Guest Room Repairs: Attend promptly to guest-reported maintenance issues such as lights, water, locks, doors, air-conditioning related checks and furniture defects.
• General Cleaning Support: Assist with cleaning of maintenance areas, common spaces, outdoor areas, storerooms or other areas when operationally required.
• Safety & Reporting: Report major electrical, plumbing, structural or specialist repairs that require licensed contractors.
• Inventory: Keep track of tools, spare parts, bulbs, fittings, sealants, screws and basic maintenance supplies.
