Job summary

The Vine Search is partnering with a well-established manufacturing client in Singapore to hire a hands-on Maintenance Engineer. You will keep the plant running safely and efficiently by troubleshooting, supervising technicians, and planning maintenance activities.

Role requires strong hands-on skills in PLCs, IPCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics and automation troubleshooting. 5.5 days work with overtime and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years in manufacturing or industrial plant (hands-on skill matters)
• Practical know-how in PLCs, IPCs, drives, hydraulics, pneumatics, automation troubleshooting
• Diploma or equivalent in Electrical/Electronic/Mechatronics or related field
• Calm, can-do attitude when things go wrong
• Ability to work independently and in a team
• Willingness to work 5.5 days a week with overtime when needed

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and carry out corrective maintenance to minimise downtime
• Lead technicians in preventive maintenance, repair and overhaul of plant machinery
• Plan and schedule maintenance activities for safe, reliable plant operations
• Manage spare parts inventory to keep critical components available
• Liaise with suppliers, vendors and service providers
• Monitor equipment performance and recommend improvements
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and procedures
