Job summary

STMicroelectronics Asia Pacific Pte Ltd in Singapore is seeking a Diploma-qualified Equipment Engineer to perform installation, preventive maintenance and calibration of wafer fab equipment, ensuring safety, quality and reliability. Qualifications

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering.
• Semiconductor Wafer Fab cleanroom experience would be an advantage.
• Wafer Handling Equipment experience preferred.
• Team player with positive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Perform and follow up Equipment installation of new and transferred equipment and ensure its adherence to safety, schedule, quality and ecology specification.
• Perform and follow up corrective maintenance to ensure Equipment are operating within specification and expected reliability.
• Supervise, in the capacity of Tool Owner, to ensure designated tasks are performance according to specification.
• Perform and follow up with schedule preventive maintenance and calibration program and ensure that it is performed in adherence to documented working procedures and in a timely manner.
• Implement, recommend and follow up on equipment improvement and reliability program to ensure it achieved expected results.
• Carry out and recommend action plans to reduce cost of equipment maintenance activities.
• Liaise with Equipment Vendors and third Party Suppliers in procuring necessary parts to carry out installation and servicing of Equipment.

YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCES

• Diploma in Electrical/Electronics/Mechanical/Mechatronics Engineering with relevant experience
• Experience in Semiconductor / Wafer Fab cleanroom equipment will be an advantage
• Experience in Wafer Handling Equipment will be preferred
• Good Team player, positive working attitude and willingness to learn
