SPCI HELM Singapore Pte. Ltd. seeks an experienced maintenance professional to oversee plant equipment, facilities, and systems, ensuring safe and reliable operation.
You will plan maintenance schedules, allocate manpower, and monitor performance to minimize downtime. The role requires 3+ years in maintenance/plant engineering with supervisory responsibilities, strong knowledge of CMMS, and familiarity with industrial electrical/instrumentation systems.
Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Electrical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or a related engineering discipline.
Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in maintenance, plant engineering, asset management, or industrial operations, including supervisory or management experience.
Strong knowledge of preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance practices.
Experience in maintenance planning, budgeting, reliability improvement, and asset management programs.
Familiarity with rotating equipment, static equipment, electrical systems, instrumentation systems, utilities, and plant infrastructure.
Experience in maintenance management systems (CMMS), work order management, and maintenance performance monitoring.
Knowledge of health, safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements applicable to industrial facilities.
Experience in contractor management, procurement coordination, and field installation works.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving abilities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and maintenance-related software.
Experience in chemical manufacturing, petrochemical, tank terminal, or industrial plant environments will be an advantage.

Oversee and coordinate maintenance activities to ensure plant equipment, facilities, machinery, and systems are maintained in safe and reliable operating condition.
Prepare maintenance schedules and coordinate manpower allocation to support planned, preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance activities.
Monitor equipment performance and reliability, ensuring machinery and systems operate efficiently and effectively.
Review daily maintenance work orders, maintenance records, and reports to ensure accurate documentation and proper data collection.
Implement and continuously improve preventive maintenance programs to enhance equipment reliability and reduce unplanned downtime.
Identify, investigate, and analyze equipment failures, determine root causes, and implement corrective and preventive actions.
Review and evaluate procured spare parts, equipment specifications, maintenance procedures, and technical documentation to ensure suitability and compliance with operational requirements.
Provide technical guidance and training to maintenance personnel on equipment operation, maintenance procedures, and best practices.
Conduct maintenance process audits and inspections to ensure compliance with company standards, procedures, and regulatory requirements.
Establish, monitor, and track maintenance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and recommend improvement initiatives to enhance maintenance effectiveness.
Coordinate and supervise work performed by contractors, vendors, and engineering consultants to ensure quality, safety, and timely completion of work.
Support maintenance planning and execution for shutdowns, inspections, and equipment improvement projects.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety procedures, environmental requirements, and applicable regulations.
Prepare maintenance reports and provide updates on maintenance activities, equipment performance, and improvement initiatives to Management.
Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to improve plant reliability, maintenance efficiency, and operational performance.
Perform other duties and responsibilities assigned by Management from time to time.
