Job summary

SIA Engineering Company Limited is seeking a skilled Machinist to perform primary structure rework using lathe and milling machines, adhering to OEM repair instructions and safety standards.

Candidates should have experience with machine tools, accurate measurement, and ability to read drawings. Strong teamwork and clear English communication are required for this on-site Singapore role.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-situ primary structure rework including machining, blending, reaming and honing.
• Understand Aircraft & Component OEM repair instructions and apply them.
• Operate lathe and milling machines for repair part manufacturing.
• Review drawings, blueprints or samples to ensure accurate production.
• Monitors production and adjusts feeds and settings as needed.
• Maintain inventory of completed products and ensure quality checks.

Job Responsibilities:

• Perform In-situ primary structure rework not limited to machining,blending, reaming and honing
• Understand Aircraft & Component OEM repair instructions forgiven task
• Good knowledge in material & specification used in accordancewith Aircraft & Component OEM repair instructions
• Possess skill & knowledge operating Lathe & Milling machinefor repair part manufacturing
• Possess skill for OEM Aircraft & Component standard practicesfor Bearing and Bush replacement
• Able to work in confined space and height to carry out Aircraft& Component OEM repair instruction s
• Good housekeeping & tool/equipment/machine maintenancepractices
• Good teamwork & able to work independent
• Good communication skill in English & able to interpretdocument accurately.
• Operates and maintains lathe and milling machines.
• Reviews drawings, instructions, blueprints or samples to ensureaccurate production.
• Takes precise measurements for cutting or shaping.
• Selects appropriate machine and settings for a given task.
• Plans proper sequence of tasks to complete the assignment.
• Monitors production, adjusting feed and other settings asnecessary.
• Maintains inventory of completed products.
• Checks output for quality assurance and documents or discardsdefects.
• Identifies need for and performs machine maintenance and minorrepairs.
