Job summary

Element Materials Technology Ltd. is seeking a Machinist to join our operations team in Singapore. The role involves performing routine and non-routine machining tasks, ensuring accurate test results under supervision, and complying with safety and company policies.

The successful candidate will have an Associate degree in a related field or 3–6 years of machining experience, strong measurement skills, and the ability to mentor junior machinists while maintaining equipment and QA records.

Qualifications

Requires safety awareness and adherence to lab rules.
Proven ability to read and interpret specifications.
Experience with machining and measurement tools.
Understanding of basic algebra and geometry.
Familiarity with machine shop safety protocols.
Proficient computer skills for data entry and documentation.

Responsibilities

Uses cutting equipment to prepare specimens for testing per customer specs.
Designs, sets up and performs machining tasks per customer specs.
Operates with minimal supervision under guidance of a Manager/Principal Machinist/Engineer.
Mentors and trains machinists with less experience through clear communication of procedures.
Transfers technical knowledge of machining to meet customer expectations.
Maintains equipment and schedules preventive maintenance.
