Job summary

JE Human Resources Pte. Ltd. is seeking a Machinist to lead the machinist team in the West area of Singapore.

The role involves assisting the Workshop Manager, planning daily jobs, monitoring progress, and ensuring adherence to safety, SOPs, and 5S standards. Responsibilities include coordinating with teams, updating work status, and supporting continuous workshop improvements. • Lead and support the machinist team and assist the Workshop Manager in daily workshop operations.
• Plan and assign daily jobs based on workload and priorities.
• Monitor job progress and update work status to ensure jobs are completed on time.
• Coordinate with the Workshop Manager and relevant teams on job requirements and priorities.
• Prepare and update simple SOPs and work instructions, and support workshop improvement activities.
• Guide machinists on work procedures, machine operation, quality and safety requirements.
• Ensure the team follows safety requirements, SOPs and safe working practices.
• Ensure materials, specimens, consumables and workshop equipment are properly handled and stored.
• Perform quality checks when required, and maintain good housekeeping and 5S standards.
• Assist with machining work and other workshop duties when required.
• Perform other related technical or operational duties as assigned

• Working Hour: Monday to Friday (9am-6pm)
• Working Location: West area
