Job summary

gevernova is seeking a CNC Machinist to set up and operate CNC machines, reading engineering drawings to produce parts with tight tolerances. The role requires basic G-code literacy and strong mechanical aptitude.

The candidate will perform quality inspections, troubleshoot issues, and collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure on-time delivery and adherence to safety and housekeeping standards. Shift work is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum secondary level education.
• NTC or equivalent preferred.
• Good mechanical aptitude.
• Good command of written and spoken English.
• Knowledge in operating of machines.
• Able to perform rotating shift.

Responsibilities

• Operate CNC machines to machine parts to specifications from engineering drawings.
• Perform inspections and measurements of machined parts to ensure quality standards.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC operations, tooling, and programs.
• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of CNC machining processes.
• Follow EHS rules and responsibilities.
• Experience operating Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or other large CNC machining equipment is desirable.
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC Machines: Set up and operate CNC machines to machine parts to specifications from engineering drawings.
• Quality Control: Perform inspections and measurements of machined parts to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.
• Troubleshooting: Diagnose and resolve issues related to CNC operations, tooling, and programs.
• Collaboration: Work closely with engineering and production teams to ensure seamless integration of CNC machining processes into overall production workflow.
• Adhere to all applicable EHS rules and regulations and employee’s EHS responsibilities.
• Experience operating Vertical Turning Lathes (VTL) and/or other large CNC machining equipment is highly desirable
• Ensure product quality, equipment care, meet production output/pace, housekeeping and schedules.
• Carries out other duties as assigned.
