is seeking an experienced Process Engineer with a strong machining background to support development, qualification, and continuous improvement of machining processes for complex engineered components. The role focuses on CNC machining, milling, turning, EDM, and related manufacturing processes, collaborating with engineering, production, quality, and maintenance teams to enhance process capability, productivity, and overall manufacturing

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Manufacturing Engineering.
5+ years hands-on machining/manufacturing engineering experience.
Strong CNC machining experience, esp. 3-axis milling/turning.
Experience with EDM or other precision machining processes.
Ability to read engineering drawings and specs.
Familiarity with CAD/CAM and basic metrology techniques.
Strong problem-solving skills and structured process-improvement approach.
Collaborative work with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement machining processes for new and existing components.
Support introduction, testing, and qualification of CNC and other machining equipment.
Optimize machining processes to improve quality, efficiency, cost, and manufacturability.
Work with production and engineering teams to troubleshoot machining and process-related issues.
Monitor manufacturing performance and identify opportunities for improvement.
Lead problem-solving and corrective-action activities using structured Root Cause Analysis (RCA) methodologies.
Drive initiatives to improve productivity, reduce waste, and increase process reliability.
Apply Lean Manufacturing principles to improve workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.
Support process risk assessments and quality improvement projects.
Develop and maintain appropriate process documentation, work instructions, and technical standards.
Provide technical support and guidance to machinists, operators, and technicians.
Work with cross-functional teams to ensure machining activities meet required safety, quality, delivery, and cost objectives.
