Job summary

MIT SEMICONDUCTOR PTE. LTD. is seeking a software engineer to design and develop machine control software for automated semiconductor equipment, and to develop new process control software. You will integrate software components or OEM equipment into a fully functional system and document solutions with flowcharts and code comments.

The role requires C++, VC++, MFC, SQL and OOP proficiency, plus GUI design and SEMI SECS/GEM knowledge; strong problem solving and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum degree in Mechatronics/CS/Engineering.
• At least 4 years' experience programming on Windows (XP+).
• Proficiency with C++, VC++, MFC, SQL and OOP.
• Experience designing GUI and SEMI SECS/GEM, C# and WPF is a plus.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and problem solving skills.
• Hardware experience with Servo, Stepper, Analog Devices and high-speed I/O.
• Strong general programming and full lifecycle software development skills.
• Excellent team player with good communication.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop machine control software for automated semiconductor equipment.
• Develop new process control software for production lines.
• Integrate software components or OEM equipment into a full system.
• Demonstrate solutions with documentation, flowcharts and comments.
• Produce organized, optimized, testable code for release QA.
• Study information needs, confer with users, analyze system flow and data usage.
• Evaluate feasibility and propose sequencing and coding solutions.
• Improve equipment performance via system analysis and procedure changes.
• Debug existing code and refine feature sets.
• Support on-site installation and field service upgrades.
• Tailor and deploy software tools to resolve customer feedback.
