Job summary

Right Recruit Pte. Ltd. is assisting a leading semiconductor equipment company in Singapore to hire a Software Engineer focused on motion control and automation for automated machinery.

The role involves designing and developing control software, improving existing products, and supporting field upgrades. Candidates with C/C++ experience and multi-threaded software skills, plus hardware exposure to servo/stepper controllers and vision systems, are encouraged to apply; senior level is available.

Qualifications

• Degree or Master’s in Electrical & Electronics Engineering or Computer Studies.
• 1–5 years in software for automation machines; Senior Engineer level also available.
• Strong C/C++ programming skills.
• Experience with multi-threaded control software.
• Hardware exposure to servo/stepper motion controllers, high-speed I/O; machine vision experience a plus.

Our client is a leading organisation specialised in developing advanced semiconductor equipment.

Responsibilities:

• Software Development - Design and develop control software for automated semiconductor equipment and vision inspection machine
• Continuous improvements on existing and new products
• Support fieldwork to upgrade and resolve customer issues

Requirements:

• Degree/Masters in Electrical & Electronics Engineering/Computer Studies or equivalent
• 1-5 years experience in developing software for automation machines. Senior Engineer position is also available for those with more experiences.
• Good experience in either C or C++
• Good knowledge in developing multi-threaded control software
• Hardware experience in using servo, stepper motion controller, analog device and high speed I/O. Experience in Machine Vision is an added advantage.
