Job summary

COENS ENERGY PTE. LTD. is seeking a Mechanical Technician - Machine Assembly to support equipment assembly, testing, maintenance and production operations.

The role involves assembling, testing, inspecting and packing machines according to drawings and documentation, plus troubleshooting and servicing equipment. You will work with engineering and production teams to ensure quality, safety and timely delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma required in Electrical/Mechanical/Mechatronics or equivalent.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in semiconductor/automation/precision engineering.
• Proficient in electrical/electronic systems and mechanical assembly.
• Able to read engineering drawings and schematics.
• Hands-on experience in machine assembly is a plus.
• Proficient with Microsoft Office.
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, test, inspect, clean, and pack machines according to drawings and documentation.
• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly activities, including installation and connection of components.
• Maintain and service equipment, tools, fixtures, and consumables in the production area.
• Conduct functional testing and basic troubleshooting to meet specs and quality standards.
• Assist in developing and updating assembly-related work instructions and procedures.
• Support engineers in investigating customer complaints and defects.
• Participate in root-cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
• Support continuous improvement to enhance efficiency, quality, safety, and productivity.
• Follow best practices in machine assembly and production operations.
• Maintain accurate records of assembly, inspection, testing, and maintenance activities.
