Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific Pte Ltd is seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Software Engineer to design, build and deliver digital products in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment.

You will own end-to-end development across frontend and backend, APIs, databases, cloud infrastructure, and deployment, collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to turn ideas into production-ready software.

Qualifications

• Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related discipline.
• At least 7 years of hands-on Software Engineering experience.
• Recent experience actively developing and shipping production-grade software.
• Strong and recent hands-on experience with Node.js and the modern Node.js ecosystem.
• Proven experience building web applications end-to-end, covering frontend, backend, databases, APIs, infrastructure, and deployment.
• Strong understanding of modern frontend and backend development practices.
• Strong understanding of modern web application architecture and system design.
• Experience working with cloud infrastructure and cloud-hosted applications.
• Hands-on experience with CI/CD, automated testing, observability, and modern software engineering practices.
• Ability to make sound technical and architectural decisions with appropriate consideration for scalability, maintainability, and delivery speed.
• Comfortable working independently within ambiguous or rapidly evolving problem spaces.
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to translate ideas into practical technical solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills when working with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Contribute reusable engineering patterns, components, tools, and practices that help the wider team deliver more efficiently.
