Job summary

FPT Asia Pacific seeks an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain and enhance a portfolio of enterprise digital products. You will work across the full stack, delivering secure, scalable code and supporting migrations and modernisation efforts.

The role covers frontend and backend development, API design, and observability with tools like OpenTelemetry, CloudWatch, and Docker. Collaboration with product teams and stakeholders is essential for reliable services.

Qualifications

• 4–7 years of hands-on full stack software engineering experience.
• Strong experience with JavaScript and/or TypeScript.
• Hands-on experience with modern frontend frameworks, preferably React.
• Experience developing and integrating backend APIs and services.
• Strong knowledge of relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL.
• Comfortable working across multiple programming languages and existing codebases.
• Working knowledge of cloud-hosted applications and environments.
• Experience with Docker and containerised deployments.
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and modern software delivery practices.
• Experience troubleshooting applications through logs, metrics, and monitoring tools.

Responsibilities

Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Full Stack Software Engineer to maintain, enhance, and support a portfolio of enterprise digital products and platforms.

This is a hands-on engineering role where you will work across the full technology stack, contributing to both frontend and backend development while ensuring existing applications remain stable, secure, and maintainable.

You will write, review, and ship production code, troubleshoot and resolve defects, implement security patches, support application and platform migrations, and collaborate with engineers, product teams, and business stakeholders.

Some applications within the portfolio are also undergoing modernisation, migration, or transition, providing opportunities to work across both existing systems and newer technology environments.

Key Responsibilities

Full Stack Development
