Job summary

Tang Lim Builder PTE. LTD. is seeking a qualified M&E Engineer to plan, coordinate, and oversee mechanical and electrical works for building construction projects in Singapore.

The role ensures M&E systems are installed, tested, and commissioned per project requirements and Singapore standards. The successful candidate will collaborate with architects, structural engineers, and contractors to resolve technical issues promptly, monitor testing and commissioning, and ensure quality

Qualifications

• Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, or M&E Engineering.
• 3–5 years of relevant experience in M&E construction projects in Singapore.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and relevant M&E/BIM software; knowledge of Revit MEP is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of Singapore building codes, M&E standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Experience in M&E coordination, installation, testing, and commissioning.
• Strong communication, coordination, and technical problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and effectively within a multidisciplinary project team.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate M&E works to meet project requirements, approved drawings, specifications, and applicable codes and standards.
• Review M&E drawings, submissions, calculations, and specs to verify compliance with project requirements.
• Oversee and coordinate M&E installation works on site to ensure quality execution and adherence to construction progress schedules.
• Collaborate with architects, structural engineers, consultants, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve M&E-related technical issues promptly.
• Monitor M&E works including testing, commissioning, and rectification to ensure systems meet approved requirements.
• Assist in coordinating with authorities and consultants on M&E technical matters and regulatory submissions as needed.
