Job summary

HD Contractor Pte Limited in Singapore is seeking a M&E Engineer to coordinate and oversee M&E works on construction projects, review drawings, and ensure compliance with specifications.

You will liaise with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution, conduct site inspections, coordinate testing and handover, while resolving on-site technical issues and ensuring adherence to quality standards.

Qualifications

• Diploma or above in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related discipline.
• Minimum 1 year of relevant M&E engineering experience.
• Experience with A&A (Addition & Alteration) projects will be an advantage.
• Relevant M&E experience with a Main Contractor is preferred.
• Good knowledge of M&E systems, site coordination and construction processes.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and oversee M&E works for construction projects.
• Review M&E drawings, specifications and project requirements.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers to ensure smooth project execution.
• Monitor M&E installation progress and ensure works are carried out according to approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct site inspections and follow up on technical issues and rectification works.
• Resolve site coordination and technical issues with relevant parties.
• Attend site meetings and provide updates on M&E progress.
• Coordinate testing, commissioning and handover of M&E systems.
• Ensure M&E works comply with project requirements, quality standards and relevant regulations.
