Job summary

TRUST RECRUIT PTE. LTD. is seeking a hands-on M&E Coordinator to support the M&E Manager in coordinating mechanical and electrical works for construction projects across islandwide sites in Singapore.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with at least 2 years of experience coordinating M&E services. Proficiency in BIM and AutoCAD, QA/QC procedures, and strong communication with consultants and subcontractors is required.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related discipline
• 2+ years of experience coordinating M&E services and/or building-related projects
• Experience in construction site / building projects preferred
• Good understanding of M&E systems, drawings and site coordination
• Knowledge of QA/QC and inspection procedures
• Ability to coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and project teams
• Proficiency in BIM and AutoCAD is an added advantage
• Strong communication, coordination and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Manager in coordinating Mechanical & Electrical works for construction projects
• Coordinate daily M&E site activities with subcontractors and project teams
• Monitor M&E installation progress according to approved shop drawings, specifications and project schedules
• Coordinate and review M&E drawings, Coordinated Services Drawings (CSD) and individual service drawings
• Identify and resolve M&E clashes and coordination issues
• Coordinate with consultants, RE, RTO, subcontractors and other disciplines on M&E matters
• Conduct QA/QC inspections and ensure inspection clearance per schedule
• Monitor subcontractor workmanship and ensure installations comply with project requirements
• Attend daily site coordination and project meetings
• Collect and verify VO costs for M&E works
• Evaluate completed works and verify material quantities for progress claims
• Ensure M&E works comply with IMS, safety and quality procedures
• Maintain site, inspection and project documentation
• Support testing, inspection and completion of M&E works
