Job summary

SANTECH ENGINEERING PTE. LTD. seeks a hands-on M&E Site Engineer to oversee installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of M&E and process piping for a 3–6 month industrial plant project in Singapore.

You will supervise pump, filtration, piping, electrical panels and instrumentation, manage 12-hour shifts, and ensure compliance with BIM, shop drawings, and project specs while coordinating with subcontractors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, or Environmental Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of site engineering experience in industrial plants, reclamation, chemical plants, or heavy utility infrastructure.
• Sound knowledge of local authority codes (BCA, PUB, SCDF, EMA).
• Willingness to work on a 12-hour shift system, including nights and weekends.
• Strong leadership and problem-solving skills under fast-track site conditions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee installation, testing, and pre-commissioning of M&E systems for the plant project.
• Supervise site installation works for pumps, filtration units, piping networks, electrical panels, instrumentation.
• Manage daily site activities, trade subcontractors, and skilled workers on 12-hour shifts.
• Ensure compliance with BIM models, shop drawings, project specs, and local regulatory standards.
• Conduct site quality inspections, pressure testing, hydrostatic testing, and pre-commissioning procedures.
• Resolve technical site conflicts and material coordination issues to maintain schedule.
