Job summary

The Supreme HR Advisory Pte. Ltd. is seeking an Assistant M&E Manager to support the M&E Manager in coordinating and supervising the M&E site team on Islandwide projects in Singapore.

You will work with engineers, coordinators, consultants and subcontractors to ensure quality, safety and timely execution. Responsibilities include reviewing drawings, method statements and RFIs, conducting weekly meetings, monitoring progress and QA/QC, and assisting with planning, submissions and Testing

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant M&E engineering experience in building projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Manager in coordinating and supervising the M&E site team, including engineers and coordinators.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on shop drawings, method statements and RFIs.
• Attend project/technical/safety coordination meetings and resolve site issues with owners/consultants.
• Supervise site M&E Engineers and supervisors to ensure work complies with drawings and authorities' requirements.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with subcontractors to maintain sequence and avoid clashes.
• Monitor site progress and quality via inspections and QA/QC checks; escalate issues.
• Assist the Project Manager in planning M&E schedules and manpower to meet milestones.
• Review subcontractor submissions and report key issues to M&E Manager.
• Coordinate with consultants for Testing & Commissioning so site is ready for inspections.
• Ensure site safety and WSH compliance with risk assessments and permit-to-work systems.
• Prepare M&E progress reports and maintain project documentation.
• Ensure QA/QC records, authority submissions, drawings, and ISO docs are complete for completion and DLP.
• Develop Value Engineering cost-down proposals for M&E and support schedules and lead times.
