Job summary

THE SUPREME HR ADVISORY PTE. LTD. is seeking an Assistant M&E Manager in Singapore to coordinate and supervise the on-site M&E team for building projects.

The role requires coordinating with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers for shop drawings, method statements, RFIs, and submissions, and ensuring compliances with drawings and authorities’ requirements. You will conduct weekly meetings, oversee QA/QC, and assist scheduling and manpower planning to meet milestones.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering is required.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant M&E engineering experience on building projects (residential, commercial, industrial, or data centre preferred).

Responsibilities

• Assist the M&E Manager in coordinating and supervising the site team of engineers and coordinators.
• Coordinate with consultants, subcontractors and suppliers on shop drawings, method statements, RFIs and submissions.
• Attend project, technical and safety meetings and resolve site/technical issues with owners/consultants.
• Supervise site M&E engineers and supervisors to ensure work meets approved drawings and specifications.
• Conduct weekly M&E meetings with subcontractors to align work sequence and avoid clashes.
• Monitor site progress and QA/QC, escalate issues to the M&E Manager/Project Manager.
• Assist Planning and manpower planning to meet milestones and avoid clashes with other trades.
• Review subcontractor submissions and report key issues; coordinate testing and commissioning with consultants/contractors.
