Job summary

RRecruiter is seeking a qualified professional to lead and coordinate mechanical and electrical (M&E) works on construction projects in Singapore. You will ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and in accordance with contractual, quality, and safety requirements.

The role requires a degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, 8–10 years of experience in building projects, and proficiency with BIM tools (BIM 360, Revit).

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related building discipline.
• 8–10 years of experience in building and construction projects.
• Proficient with BIM 360, Revit, or similar software.
• Strong coordination, communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate M&E contractors, BIM teams, consultants, and internal project teams.
• Ensure timely preparation and submission of coordinated services drawings (CSD).
• Review BIM models, technical specifications, and construction drawings to resolve design and installation issues.
• Manage daily M&E site operations, subcontractor planning, and work progress.
• Chair coordination and progress meetings with contractors and client representatives.
• Assess subcontractor progress claims and variation orders, monitor cost impacts, and implement budget controls.
• Oversee testing and commissioning of M&E systems.
• Ensure workmanship meets specifications and maintain inspection records.
• Ensure compliance with contractual requirements, the Project Quality Plan, and environmental, health, and safety standards.
