Job summary

Recruit Expert Pte Ltd is seeking an M&E Coordinator for Singapore construction projects. The role focuses on reviewing and coordinating mechanical and electrical drawings, ensuring integration of services and smooth site execution.

You will liaise with subcontractors, consultants and internal teams, monitor progress and help resolve coordination issues to maintain schedule.

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• At least 2 years of M&E works experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications, with good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

Responsibilities

• Review and coordinate M&E, structural and architectural drawings to identify discrepancies and ensure proper integration of building services.
• Coordinate with M&E subcontractors, consultants and internal teams on shop drawings, openings, cast-in items and design amendments.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress, coordinate interfaces between trades and address issues to minimise delays.
• Collaborate with the Project Manager, M&E Manager and Project Engineer to resolve site coordination issues and maintain technical documentation.
• Oversee temporary site utilities and attend site inspections and coordination meetings.

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Review and coordinate M&E, structural and architectural drawings to identify discrepancies, resolve technical conflicts and ensure proper integration of building services.
• Liaise with M&E subcontractors, consultants and internal project teams on shop drawings, structural openings, cast-in items and design amendments to facilitate smooth site execution.
• Monitor subcontractors' work progress, coordinate interfaces between trades and address issues promptly to minimise delays and maintain project schedules.
• Work closely with the Project Manager, M&E Manager and Project Engineer to resolve site coordination issues, ensure drawing availability and maintain accurate technical documentation.
• Oversee temporary site utilities, including electrical supply, water and sanitary facilities, and attend site inspections, technical discussions and coordination meetings.

Requirements:

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering, or an equivalent qualification.
• At least 2 years of M&E works experience in the construction industry.
• Proficient in reading construction drawings and specifications, with good communication, coordination and organisational skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a project team.

Salary: $3,500 to $7,000
