Job summary

CHENG JI BUILDER PTE. LTD. is seeking an experienced M&E Engineer/Coordinator to manageMechanical and electrical works on-site in Singapore.

You will prepare schedules aligned with the master plan and lead site inspections, progress tracking, and variation orders. You will ensure all M&E activities meet company standards and authority requirements, review drawings for conflicts, and report progress to Consultants.

Qualifications

• Min. 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
• Recognised Degree/Diploma in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Bilingual in English to communicate with Chinese-speaking counterparts.

Responsibilities

• Prepare M&E works schedule based on the project master schedule.
• Accountable for all M&E works, site inspections, monitoring of progress of work & variation order.
• Responsible for ensuring all M&E works of sub-contractors comply with Company and authorities' requirements.
• Review M&E drawings and materials submitted by M&E Coordinators to avoid conflicts with architectural/structural elements.
• Prepare reports for Consultant Progress and Technical Meetings.
• Coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work.
• Manage all staff within the M&E team.
• Other ad-hoc duties assigned by the Company.

• Responsible in ensuring that all M&E works of the sub-contractors are in compliance to the Company's and authorities' requirements.
• Review M&E drawings and other materials submission prepare by the M&E Coordinators to ensure that there are no discrepancies and/or conflicts with the architectural and structural elements.
• To prepare report for the Consultant Progress and Technical Meetings.
• To coordinate with clients, consultants, sub-contractors and project team to ensure smooth delivery of work including resolution of design and construction issues.
• Manage all staff within the M&E team.
• Other ad-hoc assinged by the Company.

Job Requirements

• Min. 3 years relevant experience in the Construction Industry.
• Recognised Degree/Diploma in either Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Bilingual in English in order to communicate with Chinese speaking counterparts
