Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience in the construction industry.

Responsibilities

• Prepare M&E work schedules aligned with the project master schedule to ensure timely progress.
• Monitor shop drawings and material submissions for accuracy and compliance.
• Verify M&E drawings meet authorities’ requirements and regulatory standards.
• Identify and highlight discrepancies or conflicts between M&E, architectural, and structural drawings.
• Prepare detailed progress reports to track project status and milestones.
• Coordinate with sub-contractors and project teams to resolve design and construction issues, ensuring smooth workflow.
• Monitor installation work to confirm adherence to coordinated plans and specifications.
• Conduct inspections and testing of building works, documenting inspection records for verification by RE/RTO.
• Follow up on rectification work and other necessary corrective actions promptly.
• Oversee sub-contractors to ensure timely provision of drawings as per coordination requirements.
• Guide M&E supervisors on site to ensure work is executed according to coordinated plans.
