SUNCITY CONTRACTS PTE LTD in Singapore seeks an M&E Coordinator to oversee on-site MEPF works, review drawings, manage shop drawings, and coordinate with clients and subcontractors to avoid clashes. The role emphasizes strict adherence to drawings and schedules across all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing and Fire Protection disciplines.
You'll ensure compliance with local codes and ISO standards, lead T&C activities, and assist with HSE and quality-related objectives.
Coordinate all Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Sanitary, and Fire Protection (MEPF) engineering works on-site.
Review M&E consultant drawings, architectural specifications, and structural overlay plans to identify technical clashes and routing conflicts prior to site execution.
Manage, review shop drawings and material submittals for timely consultant approval.
Interface between clients, architects, C&S engineers, M&E consultants, and trade subcontractors to resolve technical queries and avoid abortive site works.
Supervise daily M&E installation progress on-site, ensuring works strictly comply with approved drawings, contract specifications, and target schedules.
Coordinate all M&E trade contractors.
Enforce M&E quality control processes on-site in full compliance with ISO 9001 (Quality Management System) standards.
Align site practices with ISO 14001 (Environmental Management System) and ISO 45001 (Occupational Health & Safety) guidelines.
Lead pre-inspection quality checks to meet BCA CONQUAS assessment scores and Quality Mark (QM) benchmarks for all building services installations.
Issue and manage Non-Conformance Reports (NCRs), tracking Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPA) with trade subcontractors.
Ensure all MEPF installations comply with Singapore building codes and local authority regulations (BCA, PUB, EMA, SP Group, NEA, SCDF, LTA).
Plan and document all M&E Testing & Commissioning (T&C) activities, Integrated Building Services (IBS) testing.
Qualification: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Building Services, or an equivalent field recognized by BCA.
Experience: Minimum 2 to 5 years of relevant experience as an M&E Coordinator with a Main Contractor in Singapore.
