Job summary

Deloitte & Touche LLP in Singapore seeks a seasoned M&A Advisory Manager to drive due diligence, market insights, and client solutions. You will lead teams, prepare pitches, and deliver data-driven recommendations to senior partners and clients.

You will oversee engagement management, risk mitigation, and business development while mentoring junior practitioners and contributing to practice growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business with a minimum GPA of 3.00.
• 7+ years of experience in M&A environments, with at least 2 years in due diligence or transaction advisory.
• Background in Big 4, mid-tier advisory, corporate development with M&A exposure is valued.
• Advanced financial statement analysis with Excel, PowerPoint, Word; IFRS knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication; ability to present to clients and stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite or remotely based on client needs.

Responsibilities

• Review databooks and guide juniors to ensure analyses address scope.
• Prepare and present M&A due diligence reports to partners and clients.
• Communicate effectively with engagement management at all levels.
• Lead meetings with clients and stakeholders for projects.
• Prepare proposals, presentations, and tender documents with scope and cost estimates.
• Ensure risk mitigation and project profitability; safeguard engagements.
• Participate in business development to market Deloitte financial advisor role.
• Develop internal documentation for clients, working papers, and acceptance procedures.
• Employ structured project management to achieve client satisfaction and profitability.
• Develop expertise in specialization and build reputation as a Deloitte financial advisor.
• Contribute to practice growth, training delivery, and mentoring junior staff.
